Born and raised in southern California, Rachid studied at the International School of Art in Umbria and received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is currently working on his master's degree in art at Boston University. Rachid is a figurative painter whose manner is strongly influenced by paintings of the past. He has exhibited in Palm Springs at the R&B Contemporary Art Gallery and the Palm Springs Desert Museum. He has also shown at the Art Institute of Chicago BFA exhibition, the International School of Art in Umbria, the Tina Day Harbor Gallery and at Boston University.
